This crochet purse caught my eye right away because it is absolutely stunning!  I love the use of color, and especially love how this bag is a stash buster. Imagine the color possibilities!  I like using random stash colors because the end result is sort of a surprise. While parts of the pattern are written out, you will have to use your head a bit in following the chart, but it's pretty easy to follow the color changes. This bag is so pretty!  I am a sucker for anything black and white (although this bag would still look amazing in other colors) so this caught my eye straight away.  The lace shells do give this bag a vintage look, and the black ribbon detail finishes it off perfectly! This crochet backpack is super cute, and I'm sure any kid would love it! But you know what, I love it too and I would use it for myself!  First though, it's a bit of a process to get this free pattern.  It is listed in a pattern store, so you have to complete the "purchase" which is free of course, but you will need to enter all of your info, like name and address and create a password.  I ran into a problem, just for a moment though... when it asks for your country, all of the countries listed are European, I'm Canadian, and there's no Canada listed... so I tried US, nope... no US either... so i just used UK, and it worked :)  You will then be taken to a downloadable link and voila!
