Repeat last step twice in the same stitch. (4 loops on the hook). Yarn over and draw the yarn through all 4 loops on the hook.
4. Picot Stitch
Ch3, Insert your hook in the third chain from the hook, Yarn over and draw through the stitch and through the loop on the hook.
Insert the hook, from front to back, in the next stitch to the right. (right side of your work facing you)
Yarn over and draw the yarn through the stitch.
Repeat in each stitch across the row.
Work a row of normal double crochet (dc) for the first row and turn. Ch 2 for your first double crochet, Yarn over and insert your hook from front to back between the posts of the first and second double crochet of the row below, and then from back to front again between the posts of the second and third stitches.
Yarn over and draw the yarn around the post of the stitch (3 loops on hook), yarn over and draw the yarn through the 2 loops on the hook, twice.
7. Back Post Double Crochet (bp dc)
Work a row of normal double crochet (dc) for the first row and turn, Ch2 for your first double crochet, Yarn over and insert your hook from back to front between the posts of the first and second double crochet in the row below, and then from front to back again between the posts of the second and third stitches.
Yarn over and draw the yarn around the post of the stitch (3 loops on hook), yarn over and draw the yarn through the 2 loops on the hook, twice.
8. Berry Stitch
Ch 3, insert hook in next st,
yarn over, pull through stitch, yarn over, pull through 2 loops on hook,
continue steps. When working row immediately following berry st row, work as indicated across to ch-3, sk ch-3, work as indicated in next st, push ch-3 to right side of work.
9. Shell Stitch
Three or more stitches worked in same place which forms a fan-like pattern.
10. Cluster Stitch
The cluster stitch can be made with a variable amount of stitches in the cluster. For this version; *yarn over (yo), insert the hook into the next stitch, yarn over, draw the yarn through the stitch, yarn over, draw the yarn through 2 loops on the hook. (Two loops remain on the hook). Repeat from * 3 times. (5 loops on the hook)
Yarn over and draw the yarn through all 5 loops on the hook. (4dc cluster)
