Now if you can crochet a granny square, you can crochet this cocoon shrug! This beauty is made from two large granny squares, folded, attached along the edges, and crocheting a border along the unworked edges and armholes. I love every pattern that comes from Drops Design.  Their gorgeous models and photography always help too!  This lovely poncho design uses the granny stitch, very similar to a granny square.  This garment even has a detachable collar!
