365 Crochet

Adorable! This cute crochet pullover style sweater is perfect for the little sports enthusiast (or mom and dad!). The pattern works up quickly and uses self striping yarn, Red Heart's Team Spirit. I honestly would make this all in one color,but I love the fact that it uses worsted weight yarn and a large hook, which makes it fast.  I can't wait to give this one a try. This pattern was a spontaneous idea that came to mind after buying this yarn.  The yarn was meant for a different project, but I had decided not to do it, sooo.... I can't stand having a large ball of yarn in my stash with no plans for it.  I have some ideas for crochet cotton shorts, which I was going to use a lighter weight cotton, but thought, "hey, I'm going to try these in the worsted weight."  Normally I would have used a different color, I'm not real fan of this color blend, but I AM pretty happy with the design itself. It's very easy and it works up quick.   There's also so many ways to customize these shorts!  You can easily make them shorter or longer, use multiple colors, stripes, add pockets or leave them without, or add even more pockets... it's up to you!  I can't wait to see your projects.
