Shelby Mitts and Gloves -free crochet pattern-

Image
A pattern that includes instructions for mittens or fingerless gloves!  I really love the cuff on these mittens because of the lacy elegant look and the length.  They look cozy, and mittens of course are warm, but the fingerless variation is great for those times when you need free fingers, like pushing buttons on a cell phone, digging into your wallet, and buckling kids into car seats (to name a few). This pattern also includes child to adult sizing! Designed By: Sincerely, Pam Skill Level: Easy Materials:  Yarn: 1 skein WW #4 yarn such as Vanna’s Choice Hook: I hook (5.5mm) Stitch marker (optional) 2x 0.5” buttons (optional) Get the Free Pattern!

The Christmas holidays are such a busy time for me, with having an excited 4 year old, keeping my house in order, preparing and planning gifts, meals, trips, and above most, crocheting custom orders and supplying a local boutique with my wears.  It was so much, that I was cramming items in right up until Christmas eve!  And I was exhausted!  And I thought that I couldn't wait to get a break from crocheting for once!  And here I am, three days later, feeling the urge to crochet.... I don't have much yarn left, nothing but scraps and the last thing I feel like doing this week is shopping!  So, this pattern is one that I'm sure I can pull off with my bits of yarn colors and looks pretty fabulous at the same time!   Designed By : Bernat Design Studio Skill Level: Easy Materials: Bernat Super Value, Worsted weight; in 5 colors. I've made many bearded hats in the past, and just finished making one, and I must say, this is by far the best free pattern for a bearded hat that I've come across so far!  This pattern is so great that it is actually done in two parts.  The first part is all about the hat, including sizes for all ages.  The second part is all about the beard, in 4 different sizes, so that you can mix and match to the proper size.  This is a very clever and well written tutorial!
