Can you make a granny square? If you answered yes, then no problem! No? Also no problem, because there are tons of tutorials online that can show you how. This vest is almost entirely made up of granny squares, which are assembled together and finished off with an open mesh back top and a nice fringed hem. The pattern is written in portuguese, however you can easily translate it by using a free service like Google Translate. The designer has included a diagram, showing the placement of all of the squares and a chart for the mesh design, which makes this project easier. I especially love this project as it's an awesome way to use up scrap yarns.
