Spiral Socks -free crochet pattern-

Image
These cute crochet socks are adorable!  The spiral in the heel gives these socks a unique twist. This design is quite different than any other sock pattern that I have seen, as you begin at the heel!  Then you work the leg, and finish off with the foot and toe.  This pattern looks very interesting, I can't wait to give it a go. This is a Ravelry download.

Pretty in Pink Pillow -free crochet pattern-

Image
Crochet accent pillows always look so homey and cozy, and can really jazz up a room!  The best part is that you can make to your taste; your size, color, and style!  This particular pattern uses lots of texture by using post stitches. The pillow shown are actually the same pillow, you will make a different design for each side, so that it is reversible!

All Year Round Poncho -free crochet pattern-

Image
Here is an example of something so beautiful, but yet so easy!  All you need to know is how to make a single crochet (and a bit of basic sewing). Basically, you just use a large hook and make two rectangular panels. Then you sew them together and voila!  There is a video tutorial if you actually need help.  Another bonus, is that this can be worn in so many ways!  The designer lists and shows a quite a few of them. I think this may become me side project! (I have lots!)

Be Mine Heart Pendant -free crochet pattern-

Image
Happy Valentine's Day!  If you're looking for a quick gift, this crochet heart pendant is perfect!  This project works up very quickly, and requires a small amount of yarn. Even if you don't have a chain or jump ring laying around, you can easily improvise by crocheting a chain or use thread, rope, etc. Bonus, the designer also gives versions for left handed and right handed instructions!

Stevie Mandala Duster -free crochet pattern-

Image
I've been asked about these crochet mandala jackets and vests numerous times these passed few weeks, and I came across this beauty via Pinterest this morning. In theory, the pattern is easy to make, all that is required for a successful end project is time, patience, and determination... and yarn, a lot of yarn!

Casserole Carrier -free crochet pattern-

Image
This is a pretty neat crochet idea for the home. If you've ever made casseroles (or any dish really) to take to a pot luck, party, or event, then you know what a pain it can be to carry; especially if it's hot, or you have a load of other things to carry at the same time. With the crochet casserole carrier you no longer have to worry about a spill!  This is a cute and clever idea, and completely reusable.
