Herringbone Buttoned Cowl -free crochet pattern-

Image
Fall is very near, even though it's still very warm where I am, it is heavily on my mind, especially with school supply shopping for my child... for the very first time! My baby is not a baby anymore, hello kindergarten. But not to get off track, with seeing fall clothing, decor and more as I'm shopping, it is more evident that fall is close. With the cooler temperatures comes warmer clothing and accessories, and what is more attractive than a great fall cowl?!  This lovely pattern features attractive lines, ribbing, and buttons. Cowls also look amazing paired up with your favorite fall jacket or sweater, a must have this season!

Go Team Go! Baby Sweater -free crochet pattern-

Image
Adorable! This cute crochet pullover style sweater is perfect for the little sports enthusiast (or mom and dad!). The pattern works up quickly and uses self striping yarn, Red Heart's Team Spirit. I honestly would make this all in one color, but I love the fact that it uses worsted weight yarn and a large hook, which makes it fast.  I can't wait to give this one a try.

Harvest Love Sweater -free crochet pattern-

This is another beautiful crochet creation from Drops Design. I must say that they have a great team of designers working for them, all of their patterns are amazing.  This particular pattern is the perfect fall sweater. Can you believe that it's almost fall! The design begins with a lovely and interesting square motif, and works up from there. I love this sweater! Scroll down their page to see the free pattern.

Have you walked yourself into the Pokemon Go craze?  If yes, then this post is for you!  There's a designer, who goes by the title Nichole's Nerdy Knots, who has created all of these crochet creatures from the popular new virtual Pokemon game.  She even leaves these at "pokestops" for gamers to find!  Would you be excited to find a real one?! Or would you make them and leave them for others to find?  These are Ravelry downloads.

R2D2 Fingerless Gloves -free crochet pattern-

Image
This cute R2D2 Star Wars inspired crochet fingerless gloves pattern reminds me of when I was young! My mother would knit and crochet the most awesome mittens and gloves for myself and my cousins, which included Ghost Busters, and The Teeange Mutant Niinja Turtles for example, they were pretty cool!  These R2D2 gloves bring a bit of nostalgia to those of us who were into the original Star Wars, but these gloves also are "in" today, due to the resurgence of the new movies.

Festival Garland -free crochet pattern-

Image
I'm not much of a festival goer myself anymore, but many of my friends are. I still adore the festival fashions though, and this beautiful head piece is perfect!  The festival garland could be used in so many ways, it would also be cute as a necklace or belt. I want to make this "just because", it looks fun, and I want to play with color. This is a Ravelry download.

Moroccan Tote -free crochet pattern-

Image
Is this bag beautiful or what?!  I think I just found my next 'for me' project!  My current crochet bag, that I use as my everyday purse is about four years old now, so it's time for something new.  This absolutely stunning tote bag uses tapestry crochet to create this design.  Tapestry can take more time, as you are always carrying and working over the unused color as you go, but this is how you get a sturdy and gorgeous crochet tote bag!

Mandala Dream Catcher -free crochet pattern-

Image
I swear that this designer just read my mind!  I am currently working on one of these, a bit different in design, and with jute cord, but still... a large mandala!  These are extremely fun, inexpensive, and easy as they require a cheap hula hoop and any yarn of your choice. I am using mine as an outdoor decoration in my flower bed.

Bring Your Own Bag -free crochet pattern-

Image
This is something that could come in handy this summer!  The Bring Your Own Bag 6 pack carrier is a cute summer must have if you like to attend those fun backyard summer parties.  This could also be used for just about anything, but I think my Dusty Boots Hard Root Beer (my new favorite summer drink!) would look quite cozy in this bag.
