365 Crochet

I'm not much of a festival goer myself anymore, but many of my friends are. I still adore the festival fashions though, and this beautiful head piece is perfect!  The festival garland could be used in so many ways, it would also be cute as a necklace or belt. I want to make this "just because", it looks fun, and I want to play with color. This is a Ravelry download. I need a new belt, maybe I will make this one!  I have a lot of crochet thread scraps that I could use to give it a cool color combination!  The designer used two strands of crochet thread to achieve the firmness of this belt, but you could most likely use any yarn.  I do like the idea of the thread though, it has a different feel.  I can't wait to get some down time to try this out!
