Garden Candle Holder
Neat way to decorate outdoors this summer!
Materials
1 Wide mouthed glass jar. Make sure that this has a slight lip to allow the crochet to be secured onto the jar safely (for instance the threads of a screw top)
1 Ball string – amount depends on the size of the jar, however a 2 oz ball will be plenty. Use natural string, not nylon to avoid it melting.
1 Candle – a tea light, column candle or other small candle. Make sure that the candle does not touch the sides of the jar.
Equipment
Crochet Hook – 6 – 7mm (approximately US J/K/L ). The size of hook doesn’t really matter, as long as it is the right sort of size for the thickness of the string used.
