There's a photo circulating on Pinterest like a wild fire of busy knit knee high socks with flower embellishments.  I had been sent that photo numerous times with people wanting me to make them. However, the pattern is knit, and I really didn't have the time to attack and design a crochet version.  But, it seems I wasn't the only one!  This designer has done it!  And I think she did a pretty amazing job as well, look at that detail and texture. I love the look of these crochet slippers!  They look stylish, cozy, and fun, and the pattern is written for all women's sizes, you can't go wrong!  I think this would be also another great project to use up yarn leftovers in the color work.  That's exciting, because I have a bad habit of keeping tiny scraps of yarn.  The slouchy effect of these slippers are cute, I am pretty sure this is being added to my "to make" list. Turn your scarf into a vest!  This is a fun project, using the crochet pineapple design to add a racer back and straps to a scarf.  I came across this idea as I was going through my closet trying to decrease my wardrobe.  I have quite a few scarves that I never wear, and was about to put them into my "donate" pile, when the idea hit me.  So I played around with the design for a day, and this is how it turned out!  I am quite happy with it and can't wait to make more. The best scarves to use are ones that drape and are flimsy.  I crocheted directly through the material of this scarf, I am not sure what it is made of, but it was very easy to poke my crochet hook through it.  And I really hate sewing, so that was a bonus!  However, if you find that you cannot crochet through your type of scarf, you can simply sew the racer back on afterward, no big deal.  Another nice thing about this vest is that it's easy to customize to your size...

What brings this simple little Easter basket together, is the addition of the pretty flower embellishment!  I like this basket, because of it's simplistic look, the color, and the fact that it can be re-used in any way!  Fill it with towels, gadgets, accessories, or save it for next year. Ha, look at these guys!  So adorable!  I actually thought I had a lot of time before Easter, and just realized today that it is just next weekend!
