Vintage Market Tote -free crochet pattern-

This bag is so pretty!  I am a sucker for anything black and white (although this bag would still look amazing in other colors) so this caught my eye straight away.  The lace shells do give this bag a vintage look, and the black ribbon detail finishes it off perfectly! Granny Square Mermaid/Fish Tail Bag -free crochet pattern-

Image
I love how versatile the granny square is, you can make just about anything!  Mermaid tails are pretty popular right now, ever since the mermaid tail lapghan came about, and you may have already seen my little mermaid tail gift bag s.  Actually that's what inspired me to write this pattern, someone over at Ravelry had made my gift bag in a large format, and thinking "my daughter would love a big bag", but... I don't have enough yarn!  If anyone looked at my yarn stash, they'd say I was crazy, because my bin is full (over-flowing!) But, it's ALL scrap yarn, various colors, fibers, textures, etc. Not enough of one yarn to complete a big project. So instead of heading out the yarn store, I decided to try to use some of this stash up, and try to make the bag in granny squares instead, so here it is! Like I said, this is made from ALL scrap yarns!  I made the big green bag first, I pulled out all of my green toned yarns.  I wanted to make the bag in a wor

Lace Skull Bag -free crochet pattern-

I absolutely love this skull square!  You've probably seen it before in a shawl pattern , where it originally appeared, designed by Kungen Och Majkis  Now, this lovely crochet designer has taken that square and turned it into a super cute skull bag!  I have to try this. Sand Waves Oversized Dress -free crochet pattern-

Image
This is a fun pattern!  I love the way that the shell stitches look like waves in this beautiful oversized crochet dress design. This garment has a hippie style or a bohemian vibe and a bit of romance. Using lightweight cotton yarn, with the amount of "open-ness" to this dress, it would actually work up quicker than you'd think! Lotus Mandala Circular Vest -free crochet pattern-

Image
There's nothing like a hand made bohemian styled vest!  Mandalas and mandala patterns seem to be all the rage this year (I also enjoy adult-ly coloring them!).  This pattern looks amazing when uses as a circular vest.  A nice light weight garment for summer, you can dress this up or down, doesn't matter, it will always look great. Crosses Barefoot Sandals -free crochet pattern-

Image
Sometimes I design things just to see if I can do it.  I love barefoot sandals and am always trying to come up with new ideas.  I played around with this design for two days, I had some different variations of it, and finally came up with this as the best one.  These come out perfectly in size 10 crochet thread, but not in the natural color.... the natural is a bit thinner so you'll want to use a larger hook!   Designed By: Farrah Hodgson Skill Level: Easy Materials:   small amount of cotton crochet thread, Aunt Lydia's used in pattern. size 1.5mm crochet hook needle for sewing in ends Size: One size fits most Gauge: N/A PATTERN Ch 5, sl st in 1st ch to form a loop. Pineapple Cascade Baby Dress -free crochet pattern-

Image
I think pineapples are my favorite thing to make and I love seeing them used in crochet clothing patterns! This adorable baby dress (by one of my favorite crochet designers) uses the pineapple technique perfectly. The pattern is sized for a 12 month old baby, however, with a bit of playing around, you could easily size this larger or smaller.  It is so cute, that it is worth the time! Infamous Asos Tunic -free crochet pattern-

Image
Oh wow!  This crochet summer tunic is beautiful... and actually quite simple to make!  It's a mix of shell stitches and chains for the most part, I think the hardest part would be figuring out your size.  Someone has cleverly written out instructions for making your own! I think I'm going to have to make this, time to go to the yarn store!
